WaveSkills Sailing School

 

Objective:To be able to participate in daytime races, in moderate wind and sea conditions, with sufficient understanding of the racing rules, race management procedures, and tactics to successfully complete the race in an enjoyable manner.

Prerequisites: CYA Basic Standard or approved competency as Skipper

Equipment: Racing training aboard 20 & 25 foot fin keel sail boats, and/or approved owner's vessel.  Course length is approximately 16 to 20 hours.

Choice of: 
* 20 footer - club racing: 5 Races
* 25 footer - 40-80 nautical mile races - 1 Race, 1 Club Race
